State of Minnesota feminism

Posted in Anti-semitism, Judaism, Minnesota by Neal Krasnoff on January 15, 2012

If you want to know the state of feminism in Minnesota, here it is. Minnesota NOW, this past November, endorsed Farheen Hakeem, a past member of the Anti War Committee and current member of the Green Party.

The Political Action Committee of the Minnesota chapter of the National Organization for Women (MN NOW PAC) proudly endorses an outstanding feminist candidate for Minnesota State Senate, Farheen Hakeem. “Farheen Hakeem embodies Minnesota NOW’s values and mission,” said Minnesota NOW President Shannon Drury.

What are Hakeem’s values? As a member of the AWC, she agreed with their belief that

…Israel [is] an illegitimate apartheid state, and we stand in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for justice and self-determination. We support the Palestinian right of return, the demand for a dismantling of Israeli settlements, an end the Israeli Occupation, and an end to racist policies in all of the territories. Our work includes protest, education, and solidarity trips to Palestine.

In other words, anti-Semitic libel and the destruction of the Jewish homeland and the subsequent genocide of the Jews. This is who Minnesota NOW endorses? Yup.

What are Hakeem’s values?

“Farheen has been proven to be a true Green and is committed to the Ten Key Values (http://www.gp.org/tenkey.shtml) of the Green Party,” said Green Party treasurer Jody Grage. “Among the Ten Key values, non-violence, respect for diversity and feminism are what draws a lot of Muslims to the Green Party,” said Ms. Hakeem. “The Green Party has called for divestment from Israel….”

Protest the horribly oppressive countries that murder Arabs and Muslims that surround Israel? No, replies the Green Party and Farheen Hakeem, Kauft nicht bei Juden!.

Farheen Hakeem embodies Minnesota NOW’s values and mission,” said Minnesota NOW President Shannon Drury.

What are the Green Party’s values?

The Green Party of the United States condemns the attack by the Israeli navy on Gaza-bound humanitarian aid ships in international wates near Cyprus, which have left at least 19 human rights activists dead and at least 50 wounded.

Opening supply lines to murderous anti-Semites like Hamas and denying Jews the right of self-defense.

Farheen Hakeem embodies Minnesota NOW’s values and mission,” said Minnesota NOW President Shannon Drury.

What are the Green Party’s values?

The Green Party of the United States has endorsed a statement calling for a comprehensive strategy of boycott and divestment that would pressure the government of Israel to guarantee human rights for Palestinians.

Boycotting Jews is one of their values to force Israel to extend rights to jihadists who seek its destruction.

Farheen Hakeem embodies Minnesota NOW’s values and mission,” said Minnesota NOW President Shannon Drury.

What are the Green Party’s values?

The Green Party is already on record as supporting the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and to receive compensation for their losses; immediate Israeli withdrawal from all lands acquired since 1967, including the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem (see news.independent.co.uk…); maintenance of Jerusalem as a shared city open to people of all faiths; suspension of U.S. military and foreign aid to Israel; complete dismantling of the Israeli separation wall; and serious consideration of a single secular, democratic state as the national home of both Israelis and Palestinians. Greens have affirmed the right of self-determination for both Palestinians and Israelis.

The elimination of Israel.

Farheen Hakeem embodies Minnesota NOW’s values and mission,” said Minnesota NOW President Shannon Drury.

Minnesota NOW endorsed a candidate from a Green Party that supports the destruction of Israel, the homeland of the Jews and the most progressive country in the Middle East. They supported a candidate who would rather see a progressive democratic state destroyed, it’s Jews, Christians, Ahmadis, Bahais massacred, to be replaced by a barbaric, oppressive shari’a state where women will be subject to a misogynist honor-shame culture.

I’m trying to find the words that describe my complete disgust at feminists who have betrayed the very people who supported their movement as well as the principles they claimed to uphold.

I can’t seem to find them.
