Same sex unions can never be marriage and are inherently unequal

I wrote:

Traditional marriage is the recognition,  by civil society, of the biological imperative of a man and a women to procreate, form and raise a family, and to perpetuate the human species. Same sex couples cannot procreate, nor can they consummate a marriage. Same sex unions cannot, therefore, be a marriage, nor can such unions ever be equal to normative traditional marriages. Same sex couples have a right under state and federal constitutions to enter into contracts, however, civil society is under no obligation to recognize these unions as marriages, for the foregoing reasons. Because same sex couples can enter into contracts, the movement to redefine marriage is an act of unrestrained bigotry against the normative Judeo-Christian moral beliefs and standards of American civil society.
